So How Does Stanley Rate?
And so, in relation to the examples shown for the degree of fold in the Scottish Fold’s ears, just where does Stanley fit in?
While HE thinks he must be a triple fold, don’t tell him, but we are only trying to see if he is a single fold or double fold . . . hmm . . .
Stanley spotted the photograph I posted and wants to remind everyone that he can lower his ears or make them a tiny bit more erect depending on what he is doing. When he is stalking something, he flattens his ears to his head, but sometimes he tweaks them up a little more than is shown is this photograph. Most of the time, this is how he “normally” looks (if Stanley can be deemed “normal”).
So, Stanley and I argue about what degree of fold he really is. In the end, I guess it doesn’t really matter because he is a Scottish Fold and he won’t be shown at a cat show. “After all,” he says, “I’m not a cat.”
