Cats can work out mathematically the exact place to sit that will cause most inconvenience.

Stanley’s Bio

Stanley, the Scottish Fold, a unique cat from the start.

This is Stanley

Stanley thinks it’s important for you to know where he came from and how he got to where he is.

He’s not the typical cat.  He acts quite indignant when someone refers to him as such and will always ignore you when called by “Here, kitty, kitty, kitty.”  In fact, he wants to emphasize that he NEVER comes to THAT.  Ever.  He tends to look around to see who you are calling:  ‘is Iris around or something?’

Not a Scottish Fold and definitely not alpha, but a part of our home with the Scottish Fold, Stanley.

Iris - SHE is THE CAT, not a Scottish Fold

Stanley says it is all well and fine to call that intruder into his space, Iris, a cat.  Because it is obvious she is a feline.   But, don’t be lumping him into the same category, thank you very much.

So, to explain why Stan has these beliefs, Stanley’s Bio includes two stories.  One is about Stanley’s parents, the other about his first couple of hours of life:  how he ended up where he is.
