Interesting Fold Facts

When the Scottish Fold’s ears suddenly appear less folded . . .

. . . it’s usually no reason for concern.  Here’s why.

Some Scottish Folds, especially the ones with the second and third degree folds (the folds aren’t as tight), lose their fold when they are breeding OR teething. 

For some reason their cartilage relaxes when they get stressed due to being “in heat” or teething. 

Their ears usually fold back down again, so you don’t have to do anything other than wait.
