Cats do care. For example they know instinctively what time we have to be at work in the morning and they wake us up twenty minutes before the alarm goes off.
The double fold ear appears to fold down a bit onto the head, but does not lie tight against the head. The Scottish Fold with a double fold ear is not show quality, but, again, may be entered in the “household pet” classification.
